Invitation for Bangladesh Community

The Embassy of Bangladesh, Washington, DC, constructed a temporary “Shaheed Minar” in the Embassy premises.  At 0001 hrs on Sunday, February 21, 2016 (midnight of Saturday) His Excellency the Ambassador will lay flower wreath at the newly built “Shaheed Minar” (Martyrs’ Monument) to commemorate those who sacrificed their lives on 21 February 1952.  All officials of the Embassy will attend the ceremony.  Members of Bangladesh Community are also invited to attend the occasion.  The Embassy gate will remain open till 0130 hrs.
