Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, D.C. has introduced a tracking system to enable applicants to know the status of their passport, visa, No Visa Required (NVR) seal and Dual Nationality Certificate.
This is being done as a part of improving consular service coinciding the celebration of the “Mujib Borsho,” the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The tracking system will allow applicants to know dates their applications are received as well as their documents dispatched. The tracking system will inform the applicants all stages of processing of their applications. Applications received on or after 05 February 2021 will be track-able using this link:

Users can browse the link: http://bdembassyusatracking.org/ on their computer and mobile phone. Additionally, the system will generate email message keeping the applicant informed of the status of the service requested.
The system was inaugurated by Bangladesh Ambassador to the U.S.A. M Shahidul Islam. “We hope that the tracking system will reduce anxiety of our consular service seekers,” said the Ambassador.
